Logistics location with greenbelt
As part of Dortmund’s structural change, various former industrial sites are available for other uses. The site of the former Westfalenhütte with around 450 hectares and its distinctive structure is one of the most interesting locations. Around 220 hectares are being developed for new utilization.
Industrial, commercial and service companies will find a new home here. The main focus will be on logistics. There is also an opportunity to improve the natural space for example by extending the nearby Hoeschpark. The utilization concept is being developed by the owners of the site (ThyssenKrupp AG and Montan-Grundstücksgesellschaft mbH.
